Life Coach
For more than twelve years, I’ve been supporting clients as a specialist driver trainer, helping people of all abilities, including those with mental health challenges and those recovering from road trauma, to feel empowered and safe behind the wheel. That work is incredibly fulfilling and close to my heart. But over the last few years, I started to feel something stir within me. I realised I was being called to grow again, to create a new path that aligned with who I had become. During Covid I retrained as a counsellor, which then led onto further training as a life coach. This next chapter has been transformational beyond my wildest dreams, not just for me, but for the women I now support. The learnings I have discovered about myself and continue to learn has been very empowering. This in turn has allowed me to support other women to start believing their next chapter moment is emerging.
So many of us reach a point as we become wiser, where we feel we’ve outgrown parts of our lives but don’t know what comes next. It’s easy to convince ourselves that it’s too late to change direction, that we are not too old or too late, especially after years of caring for others, creating a family, or following a career path we may have outgrown. But here’s the truth: midlife is not the end; it’s a powerful beginning. This is the time when your experience meets your intuition. When your needs finally get a voice. When your future is finally about you.
And you don’t have to change everything overnight. It starts with getting honest about what you want and trusting that it’s valid to want more.
If we continue to accept a life that’s just okay, one that keeps us small, safe, and silent, what are we really modelling for those around us? Whether it’s our children, our peers, or our younger self looking back, settling sends a loud message:
But you and I both know that’s not true. We are not meant to disappear into the background. We are meant to evolve, to lead by example, not just settle that just being okay is enough.
Many of the women I work with sometimes feel disconnected from themselves. Somewhere along the way, they stopped listening to their own voice. Through self-acceptance coaching, I help you reconnect with your identity and rediscover your personal power. This next chapter doesn’t have to be dramatic or risky, or even scary. It can be gentle, conscious, empowering, fun and deeply fulfilling.
Maybe it’s starting that project you’ve kept on the back burner. Maybe it’s having boundaries for the first time. Maybe it’s finally saying yes to you. The exciting part? Every small step creates a ripple of change. For me, knowing I don’t have to go out every weekend. I’ve learnt to appreciate that giving up alcohol with menopause has given me back my power and stopped the the headaches associated with it. I don’t need to follow the status quo, I follow my own lead.
You are allowed to want more, even if your life looks fine on paper. You’re allowed to dream again, even if your last dream was beautiful. The call to grow and expand is not a rejection of your past. It’s a celebration of your capacity for more.
So, if something in your heart is stirring… listen. Your next chapter is calling. And I’m here to help you take that first step toward it.
Until next time,
Sarah xo
